I’ve been uploading for about 2 years now, and I’ve only gotten about 150 subs (actually one off) . When I post solely to YouTube my videos get around 70 views, but when i share it to reddit I get around 200-300. The thing is my click through rate is tiny and my retention rate is terrible. I think people clicking my videos out of curiosity on reddit, and clicking off in the first 2 mins is killing my videos in the algorithm. Is it time to just post a few videos on YouTube and accept the low views and hope it leads to more subs and wider reach down the line?
Well . . . . I did It and became a FULL-TIME youTuber
I FINALLY DID IT ! I left everything behind and have become a full-time YouTuber. Been going at it for 2.5 months already. I did a few days in Hollywood, 1 month in Belize, and now in Mexico for 1.5...
I”m not super familiar with this but if it’s not helping overall I wouldn’t spend time on it personally, just double down on what is working because what you’re describing would hurt your watch time!
